These are the meds I received for my IVF cycle. I'm starting the Lupron on Thursday for 7 days and then I go in for b/w and u/s on April 7th. Hopefully they will say I'm ready to move on to the Follistim at that point. I don't want to have to wait any longer.By the way, my dad (who doesn't know we've done IUI's or that we're going to be doing IVF either) called yesterday to tell me that he had a vivid dream after praying for over an hour that I was pregnant. He said everyone in the dream was crying tears of joy. He said the # 8 kept coming up in his dream but that he doesn't know what that means. He said whatever we do, to keep trying because we're going to get pregnant soon! I hope his dream comes true!
Also, I have no clue why he started talking about this, but he said that he believes that a life is created as soon as conception happens and that God has created a life at that moment and that it has a soul and that soul stays with you forever. He's a reverend by the way. I have NO idea why he said this. We did not tell him about the chemical pregnancy. So weird!!

On to IVF
So IUI #4 failed, I'm on CD1 at the moment. I have my IVF class on Thursday but I think I'll be on BCP starting on Tuesday night to start my IVF cycle.
UPDATE: I found out that this was not really a regular AF. It was actually implantation and then a miscarriage so, basically a chemical pregnancy. The beta was at 8.5 and then 2 days later was at 0. I started BCP on Thursday night (the 18th).

IUI #4 Update
So my 4th IUI is tomorrow morning. I'm excited because I actually have more than 1 mature follicle and am expecting to realease about 3 (maybe more...eeek!).
I was on 150ui of Follistim from CD3-CD7. On the morning of CD8 (Monday) they saw that I had many follicles showing signs of maturation. At that point my largest was at 15mm but I had several others above 11mm. So that night they had me reduce the follistim to 50ui.
Yesterday (CD9) I had another monitoring appointment. Here is the breakdown of the follies. 1 @ 17mm, 1 @ 16mm, 1 @ 15mm, 4 @ 14mm, 5 @ 13mm, 3 @ 12 mm, 2 @ 11mm and 1 @ 10mm. Phewwww! That's alot!!
So there was the posibility of cancelling the cycle but my RE suggested that we move forward in the hopes that I will release no more than 3 or 4 (basically the 17, 16, and 15 which by IUI day may be up to 19, 18, and 17). She did warn about the risk of HOM saying the risk of twins goes up to 30%, triplets up to 5%.
DH and I spoke and we decided to move forward with the IUI. So last night I triggered and tomorrow morning is the IUI.
Please wish us luck and send positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers if you can spare them!
